Muriel has been married to Colin for 34 years. She started working at the office in 1996 after she worked for RBC for 9 years. She enjoys working in the office because she values the relationships she builds with clients. She also loves the flexibility she has to take 'nana days' where she gets to spend time with her 6 grandchildren. When she's not spending time with her grandchildren, she likes to knit, garden and play the piano.
Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator
Val has been working for Colin for over 10 years. She has over 25 years’ experience as a bookkeeper and payroll administrator. Clients trust her with their lives! She has taken multiple courses in accounting and payroll and graduated from Northern Lights College in Dawson Creek with certificates in clerical and office administration. Val especially enjoys the consulting aspect of her job where she ensures accurate information is reported. She loves spending time with her grandchildren and hubby of 42 years and enjoys reading and knitting.
Meghan Hidber, BBA (Hons)
Meghan graduated from the Okanagan College School of Business in 2014 with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in accounting with a concentration in communications. Since moving back to Smithers, she has realized how fortunate she is to learn from a professional local entrepreneur in the town where she grew up. In her spare time, Meghan enjoys reading, travelling, and time spent with her family and friends.
Donna started working for Colin in February 2014 and loves working with the CTB team. Her previous 5 years' experience as a receptionist for BV Eye Care has helped her provide thorough, personalized services to her bookkeeping clients. People tell her she is her 'mother’s daughter' because she looks just like her, is meticulous and likes accounting. Donna has 3 children and has been married to her wonderful husband for 19 years. She thoroughly enjoys camping, card-making, and baking.
Linda joined the CTB team in November 2014. Her previous 18 years' experience as Office Administrator for St. Joseph’s Catholic Church made the transition an easy one. She likes meeting new people and building relationships with clients. She also enjoys many outdoor activities with her husband of 31 years, and in the summer, she spends time tending to her flower garden at home. Linda has two grown children, who are her pride and joy, and she loves to spend time with them whenever they get together.
